We deal with all aspects of Taxi Licensing law and have been winning cases for Private Hire Drivers, Hackney Carriage Drivers and Operators since 1997.

We are able to represent Individuals and Taxi Associations Nationwide.

We have represented Taxi drivers at Police Station, enforcement offices, Licence Committees, Magistrate Court, Crown Court and High Court of Justices.

We have also represented Minibus and Coach Drivers and Operators in VOSA related matter at Public Inquiry, Transport Tribunal Magistrate Court and Crown Court.

We were recently successful in representing 15 Private Hire Drivers who were prosecuted for illegally plying for Hire at Oldham Magistrate Court which resulted in the Oldham MBC discontinuing with the prosecution.

We have also won a number of Appeals at the Crown court after the drivers have been convicted at the Magistrate Court.

We successfully represented a driver who was acquitted when he was prosecuted under the Disability discrimination Act 1995 which was the first of its kind in Bolton.

Motoring offences:

At Allansons we provide expert advice and representation for clients facing prosecution in a wide range of motoring offences.  We have successfully helped clients facing speeding, uninsured use, drink driving, causing death by dangerous driving, disqualified driving , careless driving, motorway offences parking offences.

We work with experts in many different area who have helped us gather evidence to support our clients case.  For example in a drink driving case they are able to prepare what are known as ‘back calculations’ in order to ascertain whether the reading obtained at the time of the offence was accurate.

We have helped clients save driving licences, avoid disqualification, minimize ban periods, retrieve licences.
