Allansons has a history of 14 successful years of providing the best quality service in representing and advising its client in the areas of Crime, Conveyancing, Personal Injury, family and Taxi Law.

Allansons was established in December 1993 by Roger Allanson.  He began operating from an office at Boothstown which was originally a branch of Michael Seward & Co.   Expansion saw that the boothstown office was run by two former consultants whilst Roger opened an office in Bolton in October 1994.

The Bolton office was mainly manned by Roger and his secretary.  In 1996 Roger was one of the first sole practitioners in the country to be awarded a Legal Aid Franchise.  The award of the franchise meant additional fee earners and support staff.

In September 2001 we acquired ‘Gabbie & Co of Bolton’ and David Dickson briefly joined the firm before retiring from the legal profession.  In December 2002 both the Bolton and Boothstown offices were integrated and re located to 25 Chorley Old Road Bolton. 

In December 2006 Mohamed Patel was promoted to become a partner.  This was a fantastic achievement for Mohamed, having originally joined the company as a Trainee Solicitor.

In March 2008 we further expanded our services to cover Manchester by purchasing Bouchers Solicitors who have been established in the Gorton area for over 10 years.  In December 2008 Roger and Mohamed decided to change the company status by converting the partnership into a limited liability partnership.

We continue to offer our clients a friendly and professional service in many areas of law.

Roger  comes from a local family.  His Father is an Alderman who was the Mayor in 1989 when the Queen visited and served on Bolton Council for many years.  His Mother uniquely has been the Mayoress of Bolton twice in 1966 and 1989.  He is the youngest of twins.  His Brother Mark is the Director of Enterprise at Bolton University.  Many of you may have enjoyed listening to his older Brother Peter who is an accomplished opera singer.  Roger spends his Saturday afternoons shouting at the Wanderers or running round a football pitch blowing his whistle as a League Referee in the Warrington and District Football League.

Mohamed was born and raised in Bolton.  After graduating from University he took a year out and went travelling around the world, he visited many cultural and historical locations.  He still enjoys travelling and takes every opportunity to visit many exotic places.

Mohamed joined Allansons as a Trainee Solicitor in 2001 and worked alongside Roger Allanson dealing with Criminal and Personal Injury Cases.   He qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and is now head of the Personal Injury department.

Mohamed maintained his interest in Criminal Law and qualified as a Duty Solicitor in 2005.  He is also a member of the Law Society Police Station Advice Scheme.  Mohamed has dealt with various matters and has represented clients in some high profile cases.  He has become a very experienced and capable Solicitor.

Mohamed also speaks fluent Gujerati and Urdu.

Rodney  Fray F.Inst.L.Ex
Rodney joined Allansons in October 2007 as head of the Conveyancing Department.  He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1974.  Rodney brings with him over 40 years experience in Conveyancing and Probate cases.

Rodney’s expertise lies mainly in Residential Conveyancing, however, he has on occasion dealt with Commercial Leases.

Rodney is well established in the Bolton area and has a good rapport with many of the local Estate Agents.

Ryan Booth
Ryan started working for Allansons in 1996 and is the longest serving member of staff.  He began work in the Criminal department dealing with Crown Court Cases and has since moved into the Conveyancing  department.  Ryan is also responsible for our I.T. department.

Julie Salmon
Julie joined Allansons in 2001 following the acquisition of Gabbie & Co of Bolton.  She has over 30 years experience in Conveyancing and is therefore a valuable asset to the firm.  Julie is the first port of call if you have any enquires regarding Home Information Packs.
